Field Technician
Katherine (she/her) manages field and laboratory activities conducted in the Sustainable Cropping Systems Lab. Her former research includes citizen science, northeastern ephemeral plant and tree diversity and water quality insect indicators. She was introduced to the Midwest via long term ecology and prescribed burning at the Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve. She transitioned to agroecology primarily working on Kernza with some crossover to other perennial and annual crops.
